There is a story I heard recently that I thought I would share with those of you in network marketing, and especially those who are currently riding the wave with us in the Synergy Marketing Group & Platinum One Destinations revolution.  This story reminded me of the process we go through in our journey to success and has some golden nuggets of wisdom for us all.  Enjoy!

There once was a pencil maker who was getting ready to put the last pencil into the box that was about to be sent off to the stores.  As he held the last pencil, he gave the pencil some words of wisdom to carry with him in his journey of being the best pencil he could be…

1. Remember that in order to be the best pencil you can be, you will have to trust and allow yourself to be placed in the hand of someone else.

2. From time to time, you will need to sharpened. And while this process will be somewhat painful at times, remember that by being sharpened, you become new again and will be able to do your job that much more clearer and effectively.

3. Your exterior may some times get beaten up, chewed on, and chipped. But remember that what matters most for you is what is on the inside.

4. You WILL make mistakes, but you also are made so that your mistakes can be erased. You have a built-in correction mechanism and it is on the top of your body.

5. No matter what surface you encounter, whether it is rough, ripped, ragged, or already written on, you must make your mark, because that is your purpose in life.

As we journey through the development of ourselves in Platinum One Destinations and our lives, think of yourself as the pencil, and remember these simple truths about yourself, your team, and your purpose in life.

“To Everything There is A Season”……

And with the Coastal Synergy Group, the time has come for a new, exciting season for 2008…
