So, over the next couple of weeks, I am formulating my topic, and for those lucky readers who read this blog and post, you’ll have a chance to get a sneak preview of my speech, as I put together my thoughts on the message I wish to give to all Coastal Synergy Group members.

What first comes to mind is the idea of an apple pie. And how the apple pie represents the golden ring, the “thing” we wish to achieve, the prosperity we wish to experience. And the way we perceive an apple pie, and the way we eat it… So lets explore this shall we?

Until we actually consume the pie, we perceive that we are separate from it, right? Until we actually take a bite, and taste it on our tastebuds, we are not “one” with the pie.  Isn’t that how most of us perceive success? We see it as something separate from us, something “outside” of us, until we are in it, living in it, and physiologically experiencing it in our lives.

So when we think of a gooey, warm, slice of apple pie, what adjectives would we use to describe it? Delicious, heavenly, yummy, sweet, tasty. When I think of an apple pie all’s I can think of saying is.. “Mmm Mmm Goooood!!!”

But it is not just the eating of the apple pie that I enjoy. It is the whole experience of the apple pie that I enjoy. Think about this scenario….

You are at the restaurant, and the waiter brings a tray full of beautiful desserts, and there it is.. a thing of beauty.. a heavenly looking piece of apple pie. You select it as your finale for the meal, and the waiter brings it back to the table and places it in front of your face.  It is slightly warm, with a big plop of vanilla ice cream over it, slowly melting. You smell it, and it smells incredibly sweet, the cinnamon and sugar blending to create an awesome aroma. Everyone else at the table says, “Mmmmm, That looks So Good!!” as they all start salivating, along with you, at the masterpiece in front of you.

You see, eating an apple pie, is not just the act of tasting it. Although that is definitely one of the best parts! It is the dreaming and drooling over how it is going to taste, the Ooohing and Aahing of it as it sits in front of you, the anticipation of it as you take your fork for the first bite, swirling the piece you are going to take in the cool vanilla ice cream, and bringing it to your tastebuds for that first incredible burst of flavor in your mouth.

It is when we understand that the entire EXPERIENCE of eating an apple pie is Mmmm Mmmm good, that we start to learn to love every aspect of our Coastal business, and live in the sweetness of success every day.  Just like with the pie, the expectation of our Director’s release, prospecting, following up, every “No” every “I don’t have the money” is a part of the experience, and when we can literally say “Mmmm Mmmm Good” every morning when we get up to work our business, with the positive expectation of success (the Pie) we begin to truly know prosperity and what success really means.

You see, once you eat the pie, it is gone. It is not meant to last, for you to hold on to it. It is designed for you to EAT IT!! Therefore, we have to understand that it is the same with the money we make in the business. Money is not meant to hoard or to stick in a bank account and Oooh and Aaah over. It is meant to be consumed. Therefore, if you don’t understand that the process of getting it is the true part of success, you will never be satisfied. Because you will constantly be chained to trying to achieve something that never lasts..

I have a new acronym for Piece of the Pie. It is Peace of the “Prosperity In Everything”. It means that you let go of the idea that the apple pie  (success) is separate from you. That you begin to connect every aspect of your business to the success and the goals you wish to achieve and love and drool and accept and be at peace over all of it every day.

We may not like every aspect of our business. We all experience procrastination at picking up the phone at times. We all experience a day when we don’t make the connections we wish to make when working our pipeline. But judging that little piece of the business (the “whole pie”) is like trying to open up a jar of cinnamon and pour it in your mouth. It doesn’t taste good just eating raw cinnamon. It is when we appreciate how it contributes to the beautiful harmony of the apple pie that we accept it for what it is in its raw form, but we see its importance and bigger contribution to the creation of the pie.  

So today, I invite you to use a new mantra each morning as you start your day, pick up your phone, Listen to your next prospect tell you “No”.  Say MMMMM MMMMM GOOD! And know that you are experiencing success and true prosperity RIGHT NOW!

Today I am just so glad to say that I am affiliated with the Coastal Synergy Group.

Why? Well, because as I’ve matured into a successful Coastal Director, I’ve learned alot about the Coastal Vacations marketplace.  I’ve been able to see and hear lots of things about how Coastal Directors operate.  I have to admit that when I got started with the CSG in Coastal Vacations, I was a newbie to the business and to network marketing in general. I didn’t know what to look for or what not to. But my instincts told me that the CSG was the team I wanted to be part of my journey.

What’ I’ve come to know over time though, is that even though I am a member of the CSG and somewhat biased, I truly believe we are one of the only groups and teams that truly delivers its promise of giving a person with the desire, motivation and discipline to truly succeed in Coastal Vacations. And that is worth more than the initial $89.95 per month we pay to become a member and have access to the Coastal Synergy Group official system. (That cost actually reverses into income once you’ve built a decent team because of the affiliate commissions we receive monthly for each system we refer).

Every week I talk to at least one or two people from other groups who contact me asking for assistance and coaching. They come from all over, but most have the same story when they do contact me. They’ve either been orphaned, do not know where their director is, they have received no support, and/or they need someone to help them.  

Their stories are the same stories that most people tell in Network Marketing. That’s why so many people, up until now, have had a negative association with the industry itself. There is a fairly high attrition rate in network marketing. That is just a fact - I don’t hide that fact when I am talking to prospects.

What is so unique and revolutionary about the Coastal Synergy Group is that it eliminates the excuse that your success is dependent on the PERSON that you join with.  Our leadership board is made up of dedicated, proven leaders in Coastal Vacations who volunteer on average 4-5 hours of their valuable time to contribute to the overall success of Synergy Group members.  I am one of those leaders.  Our leaders provide training forums, conference calls, live events, business tools, and coaching if desired from successful people in our company (Coastal) and our industry.

I am fortunate to be a part of this dynamic leadership group.  But what I love most is that I am part of an organization that promotes and upholds integrity for every member.  And because of the magnitude of duplication we are able to accomplish through training and systems, we tip the scale in the industry attrition rate in our favor - for ourselves and for our own team members we bring in. And it just keeps getting better.

If you are one of the casualties of a director who gave you empty promises, I truly feel your pain. The good news is you can become a member of the Synergy Group at any time and start seeing success quickly by plugging into the kind of training you should have had when you first got started. And of course you’ll have those same training tools available to plug your renewed and growing team members into as well.

I am always glad to talk to individuals in Coastal Vacations no matter where they have been and no matter where they wish to go. Whether its to finally get released, finally start seeing profit sales, finally start duplicating, finally start building a thriving, prosperous team.
